Proposing changes or desirable action

What do you want to do? What change or action do you expect your government to comply with? So, you are being told that Public Voice is the platform where you can post a proposal or create an event which may affect the Nation, your State, or your Community.  Your desire is to force your governing body to do the right thing for the People!

But how is this going to happened?  After all, the American founding fathers forecasted this need and did set up a process by which the people can dictate to the government what they want. Initiatives and petitions bearing enough supporting signatures are allowed to be included in voting ballots. But until now only the wealthy could afford the cost of gathering signatures and pay for the advertisement to motivate the people to sign.

That is why Public Voice is so important to change this trend where only the wealthy or the government has a voice. In principle, the process is simple.  Some citizen, or a group, proposes a needed change.  The members vote and help promote the cause.

Demonstrations, Occupy, or other civic events will now carry a defined purpose: to enlighten the population at large for the need of action on the proposed issue. Email can be sent to friends and contacts saying, for example, “Do you want the lobbyists to determine your future?” instead of some vague propaganda.

But voting in Public Voice is just the first step of the process. If 60% or more of our members approve the proposal, then we, at Public-Voice Foundation will initiate the procedures to comply with State and Federal regulations to include the referendum in an official ballot.

We can gather legal signatures online!  And once the referendum has the required signatures, it will be posted in the official ballots.  Elections now will be more than just a selection of candidates and approval of measures that the government wants to shovel down in our throats.

Clearly, our efforts to reach all voters can at least in part overcome the TV and other promotions. And this why is so important for us not to be limited to anyone particular group.  WE WELCOME THEM ALL.

The Democratic Process

The member, as an individual or in small groups, is the strength of the community. Small groups are easy to operate as a Townhouse and use the power of Public’s Voice platform, which direct affects the General Assembly (GA).  Without Public Voice, imagine the pending anarchy resulting from GA depending on physical meetings with thousands of members. Imagine the unfairness to those who may not be able to attend such physical meetings.

Each member is at the center of the Hub composing the Public Voice architecture.  The member can interact with small groups and at any level of his or her choice. And, in ultimate analysis, most changes will only take place when the members approve official ballots or petitions.

Local organizations housing small groups determine the path of State and National Forums via the direct vote of the member.
